From Passion to Purpose: The Inspiring Journey Behind Doodlez
Art doesn’t have to be locked behind gallery walls—it can be in your hands, on your desk, or part of your everyday life. This is the story of how I turned my love for creating into Doodlez, a brand where art meets accessibility.
Childhood Beginnings:
Where It All Started I was seven when I discovered the joy of doodling. Armed with colored pencils and a battered sketchbook, I poured my imagination onto pages whimsical shapes, mismatched patterns, and every shade of joy. Those carefree sketches weren’t meant for galleries; they were moments of pure expression.
As I grew older, I studied product design. It sharpened my creativity and gave me technical skill—but my soul stayed with free, uninterrupted art. I began journaling my thoughts through designs. That creative habit sowed the seeds for something bigger
Flea Market Validation: The First Sign
January 2024. I took nine DIY art kits made from upcycled Diwali cardboard to a local flea market. It was a test can this work? On a cold morning, visitors trickled in. And by day’s end, everything had sold out. People held my art kits and smiled. I sold not just art but connection.
I made a second batch. Overnight, they too sold out. That was the spark. Selling out wasn’t just profitable it was validation that aordable, accessible DIY artistry could resonate.
From Bedroom to Studio: The First Cramped Workspace
June 2024, I converted a corner of my brother’s oce into a tiny studio barely enough room for two desks, but enough to experiment. I began shipping kits, running workshops, and building trust. As a solo founder, I wore all hats: packaging, content creator, customer support. It was exhausting and exhilarating.
By early 2025, Doodlez had its own Bangalore oce with a growing team for packaging, content, sales, and marketing. My heart still swells when I remember our first team lunch—six of us, dreaming big in that small space.
Building a Team: When “I” Became “We”
Art may start alone, but a brand can’t. I found fellow creatives who cherished accessibility over exclusivity, joy over perfection. We launched resin jewelry kits, illustrated planners, and customizable decor. Each new kit included clear, user-friendly instructions and an invitation: “Create, not wait.”
Our team grew with four core values: creative freedom, accessibility, customer-first care, and lasting quality. Today, we’re a family, and each kit carries that warmth.
Philosophy & Values: What Makes Doodlez Tick
Three pillars define Doodlez:
- Creativity without limits: Every paint stroke or doodle should feel freeing, not intimidating—whether it's “DIY kits for beginners,” or “creative DIY art projects.”
- Accessibility over exclusivity: Art should be aordable, approachable. Our kits from “resin jewelry kits” to “customizable tote bag painting kits” are priced for everyone.
- Customers at the heart: Every order receives a personal note. I still call each person to resolve even the smallest issue. Building trust isn’t a marketing tactic it’s our foundation.
Founder’s Philosophy & Brand Values
For me, Doodlez has always been about more than selling products. It’s about creating pieces that feel personal, tell a story, and spark joy.
- Creativity Without Limits – Every idea is worth exploring.
- Accessibility Over Exclusivity – Art should be for everyone, not just collectors.
- People First – Customers aren’t transactions; they’re part of our creative family.
Democratizing Art: Why Accessibility Matters
Art doesn’t have to be highbrow or expensive. Enabling creativity through a tactile, home-friendly DIY art experience oers mental wellness and emotional joy. It fits into our daily lives:
- “DIY kits for adults” provide stress relief.
- “Craft projects for gifts” make heartfelt, handmade presents.
- “DIY home décor” ensures pieces with personality, not just plastic.
Doodlez wants to bring the joy of art into every home, helping people craft from walls to accessories.
Customer-First Culture: My Promise to You
Each customer message, review, or request is a creative spark. Some of our most popular kits originated from heartfelt feedback. I respond personally to even the smallest query tracking satisfaction isn’t just part of business; it’s part of who we are. Your trust helps us improve.
Future Vision: Doodlez as a Creative Community
Doodlez is blossoming into more than a brand it’s becoming a creative hub. Soon, we’ll launch interactive workshops, collaborative collections, and even virtual art clubs so anyone, anywhere, can access art.
Expect more resin jewelry kits, planner accessories, and surprise “art therapy projects for beginners” in the coming months.
At Doodlez, every piece from coasters to resin pendants is made with love, care, and an eye for joy. If you thought art wasn’t for you... rethink. Whether for gifting or personal discovery, this is an invitation to create something unique, with your hands.
